Which tables to hire for your event
When planning an event, do give thought to the tables that will best suit your theme or setting. Not only do your guests want to be comfortable but the furniture needs to fit the style of the venue and the layout of the room.
We have all types of tables to hire and from our bases near Bournemouth, Dorset and Andover, Hampshire we can deliver throughout Dorset, Wiltshire and Hampshire. But which to choose for your event?
Round tables are always popular as they allow guests to get to know each other. Covered with some crisp white table linen and decorated with a simple or more elaborate centre piece, you can’t go wrong! However, do make sure the design of your centre piece allows guests to see each other across the table and that it doesn’t take up too much room, especially if there will need to be a lot of serving plates on the table.
Our round tables come in a variety of sizes and which size you choose to hire will depend on how many you would like to seat round the table and what sort of meal you are serving. For instance, our largest round table which is 6ft diameter can seat 10 for a formal dinner with side plates but up to 12 can be seated for a more informal affair. For an evening party, we have tall poseur tables which are just enough for guests to lean against and leave their drinks. Add high stools for a bistro type effect. Our poseur tables can be stylishly covered in stretchy fabric, either in white or a variety of colours.
Trestle tables can be used pushed together to create long dining tables and this can be very effective. Alternatively, we can supply rustic style tables and benches which don’t need a table cover and look fabulous!
For a garden party, we can supply picnic benches for guests to sit round, or wooden patio sets with parasols. We have something for everyone!
